I picked this up on iTunes, meaning I'm not getting the physical version mailed. But the download version is the full album, which runs 83:55 (more than a CD could hold), and you get a digital booklet, so I still feel like I have it all. "Assault on the Princess" is my favorite of the new scores. Really liking it.

BSX just sort of snuck this out without much fanfare. Insta-purchase to go with my other 4 volumes. The download that comes with the On-Demand CD has the 2 tracks not on the CD. Even with shipping, the CD is cheaper than the diwnliad-only.

BSX just sort of snuck this out without much fanfare. Yeah, and that makes no sense. Score fans from around the world are reading this board, and the fanfare is free! What were they thinking? The download that comes with the On-Demand CD has the 2 tracks not on the CD. Even with shipping, the CD is cheaper than the download-only. I bought the download-only with digital booklet from the iTunes-for-Windows store, and it was $9.99. The CD price at BSX is $11.95. So I don't quite agree with you there. Insta-purchase to go with my other 4 volumes. So much yes. The five full Bionic Woman albums, plus the fantastic BW material from The Film Music of Joe Harnell, comprise a tremendous collection. We have 12 episode scores now, plus the pure-gold library music. One marketing note: Assault on the Princess should be listed as The Bionic Woman Volume 6, not 5, now that The Film Music of Joe Harnell material has been separated out and called Volume 1. The corrected volume numbers, in order of release, should be: 1. Jaime's Theme - Sister Jaime 2. Kill Oscar 3. The Return of Bigfoot 4. Doomsday is Tomorrow - The Martians are Coming 5. Once a Thief - Deadly Ringer - Bionic Beauty 6. Assault on the Princess - Bio-Feedback - Jaime's Shield - The Over the Hill Spy

How about Oliver Nelson (and JJ Johnson's) material for THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN? Could you update the situation about the surviving status or not of the SMDM tapes at Universal? Why this music can't be eventually licensed and realeased haunts me.... This would have been perfect timing to release it at last, as the show went with its 50th anniversary this year (1973-2023). It's all about relationships, and I never heard of anybody here having an "in" with the Nelson estate. I don't even know if Oliver kept personal copies of his SMDM sessions. I really think a re-recording would be our best chance. If you raise the money and transcribe your sheet music from audio, no one can stop you from licensing it. It's that, or pry the tapes loose from Universal, assuming tapes still exist.
