I still think this is a new commercial strategy of this site (Disney) by creating some sort of scarcity by removing this title from time to time from their site to create an extra demand just for the extra buying impulse ("Product currently not available" doesn't mean it is Sold out!) ...but I know that for example the Soundtrack for "Tomorrowland"(Michael Giacchino) had indeed a very small cd release. But this is indiana Jones and John Williams for peet sake...

Nah, that's to much work for to little return in investment.

Are you talking from the perspective of your work, yourself as the consumer, visiting the site frequently to see when/if it's back in stock and placing the order? Or Disney doing this with their availability? If the latter, quite probably an algorithm that places it up and down now and then, all scheduled and programmed availability in advance (or after X copies, even if crazy low like 10 copies) with no human needing to perform that work each and every time it goes up/down from availability.
Yesterday they reopened the pre-order process at last. Ok, great move. About time.
But this second CD pre-order time window seems to have been even shorter than the first one! So if John Williams was the one person to thank for re-opening the sales on this highly desired physical soundtrack CD of his, would he any tolerate this mess happening all over again??
Is this the GROUNDHOG DAY like nightmare or what?
I was very fortunate and managed to get one straight yesterday morning (after having missed the first batch) but, hey, what about those who missed it for the second time now!?
Why aren't they releasing this thing the normal way once for good, instead of causing this total mess all over again, haunts me to a stratospheric degree...
I bought mine on Thursday then on Friday the link was down.
If you bought yours yesterday, does that mean the link came up again for a third time? Or am l confused?
Yes That was in July 21st when a 60 minute window was suddenly opened and then the portal collapsed. I nabbed my copy in that slot which arrived at 8th August at my doorstep.

Haha, the portal... it's true, it is a bit like the plot of the movie itself
