now that the video is blocked there's no point in my posting:

at 13:35, they talk about rationing butter,etc. It's stuck in my mind that the Brits are still having to do this.

When I went to London, I was tempted to give TG a pound of sugar and a pair of nylons! smile



The nylons would have been wasted.

I was already wearing some, underneath.

My understanding is that most American g.I s got run over.
Because they looked the wrong way when the crossed the street.
Not to mention driving on wrong side

Did the Britain's and Americans ride their horses on the opposite sides of the road in 1776?
You'd think the colonists would've adopted Britain's riding habits.

When we fought the Romans.

I think plenty of "foreigners" get run over when visiting london coz they dont look the right way.
In london they mount the pavement to get you if they think you dont look right. Lol
