Resurrection is a wonderfully concise movie about a woman who is able to heal people while getting criticisms all around her for not stating from where her powers come. It brings to the forefront of the difficulty of being in such a position.
And for me, the ending was so beautifully understated.
Although I appreciated Stallone's Rocky IV recut, his decision to crop it to 2.35:1 is completely baffling to me. It definitely doesn't appear to have been shot with this aspect ratio in mind and pretty much ruins the experience for me. I love the 2.35:1 aspect, but not when it's forced onto an image originally shot for 1.85:1.

Everything about this film is first rate.
"Resurrection" is, indeed, a powerful and superbly acted film by Burstyn, Eve le Gallienne and Sam Shepard. Maurice Jarre wrote one of his very best scores for this film, and it has, oddly, never been represented on any recording.
