Searched around and couldn't find a thread for this one, a French Canadian television limited series created, written, and directed by Xavier Dolan. Titled in French as La nuit où Laurier Gaudreault s'est réveillé. I don't know much about the series other than what I can glean online, as it doesn't have a US release yet. The score was only recently released a week ago as well. I gave it one listen to and found it enthralling as a Thriller score. String-heavy and moody in its sound. I haven't been thrilled with David Fleming's work on things like The Last of Us but it seems he works well with Hans Zimmer as a driving creative partner. It's a nice album length, at about 50 minutes. It doesn't seem to overstay it welcomes I think. Recommended for Zimmer fans looking for not only something new but something a little more subdued. Also recommended for fans of Thriller and Drama scores. Not recommended for people who just can't get enough of not enjoying Zimmer's music.

I've heard it a couple of times since it came out. It's OK; even has a couple of references to old-school Elfman, of all things. But I need to listen to it a few more times to properly assess it.

Thanks for posting - first I've heard of this.

Particularly enjoying the main theme (which is what I take About Logan to be).

I picked up on that, too, Thor (Batman Returns). Also a theme from Zimmer’s own Radio Flyer score appears in a slower variation in the track titled “1993”.
