I have been playing this all week. I have and love the other pieces, but was particularly excited to be able to hear Rota's magnifcent WAR AND PEACE in modern sound. What a treat! I look forward to listening to Hurwitz' review.
I've been listening to this today and it's very good. Excellent from beginning to end – and the end doesn't come until after a well-filled 83 minutes, so there's plenty to enjoy.
