Going strong is an understatement! Has a whole slew of concerts lined up in 2023 (including one in Japan!), a tentpole movie score (INDY 5) and other bits and bobs for the concert scene. When my grandfather was 91, he had been dead for 6 years! So incredible stamina. Happy birthday to my alltime favourite composer!

The man is a legend! So happy I saw him live in Vienna in 2020. One of the best days of my life. And yes, my all time favorite composer.

The last of the breed who's still composing for an orchestra and doesn't have to rely on electronics or an annoying
2-note rhythm. Happy Birthday John Williams!

Happy Birthday to the man who enriched my life by directing me to film scores as a source of aesthetic pleasure, accompanying me through my life so far with his melodies and symphonic masterpieces.

Excellent. May he continue composing until his last breath. And may somebody be there to transcribe every last note like Salieri did for Wolfie in that movie.

A very happiest of birthdays to the GREATEST film composer of ALL TIME... The greatest that there ever was... or ever will be... which is quite an honor, considering the stiff competition from a small handful of other worthy giants (most notably, John Barry and Jerry Goldsmith).

At 91 years old, JW seems to be busier than ever, with no signs of stopping anytime soon... What an absolute treat for us all... and I can say for myself that I am truly thankful.

As the last living "truly great" film composer (aside from Lalo Schifrin, who is thankfully still with us), I hope that JW can continue to gift us with his musical wonders for as long as he is willing and able to do so...

I really enjoyed his most recent gift to us... the brief yet delicate, touching, and moving score that he gave us this past Christmas with "The Fablemans"...

and I REALLY CAN'T WAIT for his NEXT gift to us... the (no-doubt, I'm sure) lengthy, dynamic, exhilarating, and triumphant score that he will be giving us this summer with "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny"!

Happy 91st Birthday, Maestro Williams!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND GOD BLESS YOU MAESTRO WILLIAMS!!!!!!

LOST IN SPACE Season 1 was most likely the first time in my life that I heard John Williams music and his Incidental Episode Scores were truly wonderful, but he truly nailed the Main Theme in Season 3. It ROCKS! Here's both of his Main Title Themes:
