Let’s have fun and create our own “Favorite Things” categories. We’ve done favorite actors, movies and soundtracks. Below I’ve created some “Favorite Things” lists. Respond or add to my list, or even better, create your own FT’s to share.

Favorite Colors: I like blue and green together and taupe.
Favorite Places to visit: Love Venice the most. Also love Bordeaux and Barcelona.
Favorite Foods: Broiled Lobster tails, bacon, chocolate.
Favorite Clothes: We post-menopausal women love sweatpants with elastic waistbands.
Favorite Holidays: Christmas. Love shopping for my family.
Favorite Animals: Dogs, especially Welsh Corgis, West Highland Terriers, and Dogbelle of course.
Favorite Pastimes: Shopping, eating out, some traveling and visiting new wineries. I also love to read and watch good TV programs.
Favorite Singers: Barbara Streisand. I’ll think of more.
Favorite Art: I love original pottery, lovely glass pieces and paintings. Wish I could afford Murano glass pieces.
Favorite types of music: Obviously film score music and Doo Wop.
Favorite People: Of course, my family plus my British or UK buddies here at FSM plus many other FSM members.

I'll play, this may be fun. I'll just tool around with your list.

Favorite Colors: Blue, mostly.
Favorite Places to visit: I don't travel much, but I love going to Pennsylvania every summer for Pug Camp (it's a rescue event)
Favorite Foods: Pizza, chicken, burgers. Typical guy.
Favorite Clothes: Flannel shirts. I love this time of year!
Favorite Holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Favorite time of year!
Favorite Animals: Dogs, particularly pugs. I'm president of Pug Squad, a rescue fund raising group.
Favorite Pastimes: Reading, listing to music and old classic TV. I'm big on Nostalgia.
Favorite Singers: Phil Collins, Billy Joel, Sammy, Dean and Frankie...
Favorite Art: Movie posters, comic book art.
Favorite Movie Genres: Sci-Fi, Noir, classic horror, adventure
Favorite types of music: Obviously film score music, 80's pop, smooth jazz, classical, lots of stuff.
Favorite People: The missus, my sister, and my very small but close circle of friends. And my current dogs, Phoebe and Mugsy.

Favorite Colors: Blue. All my clothes have some variation with blue in them.
Favorite Places to visit: Jerusalem. Especially the old city. There is no place like it. And Dingle Bay in Ireland.
Favorite Foods: Breakfast: eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. And fish of any kind. Broiled.
Favorite Clothes: Sweats. Shorts.
Favorite Holidays: Valentine's Day. Taking my wife to dinner.
Favorite Animals: Dogs, especially Golden Retrievers and Labs and Corgis.
Favorite Pastimes: Dining out. Listening to music. Reading. Walking. Conversations with friends.
Favorite Singers: Kingston Trio. Willie Nelson. Buffy Sainte Marie. Juice Newton. Sweethearts of the Rodeo.
Favorite Art: Paintings. (My wife is an artist.) And poster art.
Favorite types of music: Classical, film music, C&W, Folk.
Favorite People: My wife. Friends I taught with. A buddy named Bill I used to go to movies with. Niall of Ireland. Vinylscrubber and Bill Carson.

Favorite Places to visit: All the places Ive never been. Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Yellow Stone, etc.
Favorite Foods: Cheese (Number one!), Pizza and Calzone.
Favorite Clothes: Loose fitting.
Favorite Holidays: Christmas.
Favorite Animals: Dogs (Pets) Squirrel and birds. (In Nature)
Favorite Pastimes: Surfing the internet (sad I know!) Digital Art. Making playlists & listening to music.
Favorite Singers: The Carpenters (Not really into vocalists though)
Favorite Art: Classical 2D Animation
Favorite Movie Genres: Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Action Adventure
Favorite types of music: Film scores (Duh!)

Fav art: Pre-Raphaelite, impressionist.
Fav movie genres: Italian westerns, sword n sandal, giallo.
Music : to obvious
Fav people : anyone who hasn't ratted me out to the cops, man

These are fun to read. I didn't know Scott really loved Pugs. Thanks Scott and Solium for adding a new category, movie genres. I'm really liking mgh's buddies from FSM. Thinking about sending mgh a hot pink sweater to add pizazz to his clothing.wink

Favorite Place to visit: Atlantic City back in the day before it became a ghosttown

Favorite Foods: Steak, melted mozzarella cheese, meat topped pizza, Blue Diamond Salt & Vinegar Almonds

These are fun to read. I didn't know Scott really loved Pugs.

I've had 12 in the last 20 years. They are the funnest dogs. We presently have one pug and a pug/chihuahua mix and they're just so entertaining to be around. Every year, my organization hosts Pug Camp in Poyntelle, PA and it's the greatest weekend. Pugs and their humans raising money for rescues and having a great time in the mountains.

Pugs are our breed but we love all dogs.

Favorite Colours: Yellow, I also love green.
Favorite Places to visit: Portobello Road Market, West London on Saturdays, I've bought some great bits from the Flea-market (& I grew up there in the 50s/60s).
Favorite Foods: A good curry, toad-in-the-hole, rhubarb crumble & of course chocolate.
Favorite booze: Red wine esp. rioja, & bourbon (Bulleit & Knob Creek), but no bourbon this year until the end of April.
Favorite Clothes: I was wearing it today, a long green Swiss army coat, looks very stylish (bought from a stall in Portobello Market).
Favorite Holidays: I'm retired, every day's a holiday.
Favorite TV series: Mad Men, totally brilliant, just the last episode to watch, maybe tomorrow.
Favorite Animals: I don't like pets (that's the audience lost), I've always had a soft spot for horses.
Favorite Pastimes: Walking (I just love walking) & the usual stuff: reading, listening to music, watching films.
Favorite Singers: The late great hippy Kevin Ayers is my favourite singer. Kevin who? Well he never had a hit, but his seventies albums are all brilliant.
Favorite Art: I love a bit of colour. I love pulp art for paperbacks & magazines (esp. horror & science fiction) & have several books of the stuff.
Favorite types of music: Baroque, 20th Century orchestral, pop (mostly seventies) & soundtracks.
Favorite People: Family (they're a good bunch) & about three old friends that I'm still in touch with.

Adam's unique animals are...well unique. Thanks to Adam and Rameau for adding new categories like sound effects, child memories and best booze. What is toad in the hole?

That Pug camp sounds like so much fun.

Favorite booze: A strong red wine like Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State.

2) all my Grand kids
3) all my computer's
4) all my video's
5) all my music
6) my first car.
7) my childhood in the Bronx NY
8) riding the "D" train to coney island from the Bronx.
9) freedom to travel anywhere in the city (had to be smart about it)
10) seeing Mickey Mantle and crew at old yankee stadium
11) Seeing the brand new, new york mets in the old Polo Grounds.
12) seeing most of the New York sport teams in my youth (prices were cheaper then)
1) making computer art and bad painings the old way.
