I'm optimistic though. Marvel's had a good 20 year run, but I think there's a saturation point. You can see the spinoffs have moved to streaming services, but I'd be surprised if any big box office Marvel makes a dent now on the scale it once did.

Tarantino is just pissed at Marvel because their films don’t have scene after pointless scene designed just so the director can self-indulgently use some “cool” song, or that the script doesn’t have profanity in every third line.

Orlando Bloom has had the most success, but that is mostly because he was lucky enough to become associated with two big franchises. Once those wells dried . . .

What was the other one? And don't say "The Hobbit" because that don't count!

My mistake. Pirates of the Caribbean is the only other franchise outside of LOTR that Bloom was associated with. I agree The Hobbit doesn't count.

Oops! Totally forgot he was even in that. Then again Ive only seen the first film from start to finish.

I always found him overrated myself. Just another "shock jock" director swaying somewhere between indie and mainstream.

Doctor Strange 2 almost hit $1B globally, and three of the top 7 movies of 2022 are Marvel pictures, and that's without the benefit of the Chinese market. They're not going anywhere, even if they're continually pumping out material for Disney+ on top of their theatrical blockbusters.

Bummer. I was hoping we reached saturation, but it must've been covid.

Surprised it did so well, I thought it was pretty much panned. Guess not.
