The vendor finally contacted me and gave me a tracking number. I looked up the tracking number and from what I can see the item was delivered to his local post office on the day he said he mailed it, but the trail stops with the local post office. It doesn't show the next step of leaving the post office and being placed en route to my country.
My question: if the vendor's local post office lost the package, should he refund me the money? I don't know if it was insured or not. If it's not insured, does the buyer assume the risk? What are the standard practices?
Good news! The CD finally arrived today, more than two months after shipment.
I think everywhere's messed up at present. My last LLL package (usually arrives within 1-2 weeks) took over 6. And my current Intrada package (also usually with me within 2 weeks) is 4 weeks and counting. It doesn't help that the UK Royal Mail have been on strike every other day and twice on Sundays for the past few weeks (months?). Glad yours finally showed up. What was it (and do you like it)?
