I will be glad to add this to my recent purchase of Intrada's Conan the Barbarian.
I urge all who haven't yet got Barbarian to do so, as this release may precipitate a sellout on that title, which is extremely well-produced and essential.
Congratulations to Intrada for finally getting this one over the finish line!
I’m haven’t actually heard this score, and am only passingly familiar with the original. I’ve been considering making the Intrada release of Barbarian my free CD from the Kickstarter, though BornOfAJackal’s post is making me reconsider that. Anyone make any comparison points to consider between the original and Tadlow recordings of both Conan scores?
I wonder if it includes The Sword and Sorcery Spectacular since that has some of Conan the Destroyer's musical DNA in it. I can't help wondering if that's what kept it off of the first volume of BSX's Basil Poledouris collection, as the original artwork showed it listed. It's probably something else.
Either way, Conan the Destroyer is going to be here next month!

Extremely well-produced? That wouldn't be my description.
