Desplat has written beautiful new score for the Chinese online video game HONOR OF KINGS. No idea if this will get a proper commercial release.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL MUSIC from Alexandre Desplat once again. So very deserving of a physical CD release. Please some label make this year special for music so special.

First I've heard of this assignment, and between those two videos I'm totally sold! Very promising work from Desplat and I hope it gets a release. LUST, CAUTION was one of the first Desplat scores to really blow me away so I'm excited for his musical return to Asia.

Just to clarify my post. I assume that the two 3-minute pieces are the extent of his work for this game. HONOR OF KINGS uses many different composers and the soundtrack tends to be released digitally in separate volumes. There has been some wonderful music written for this game.

Howard Shore wrote some STUNNING cues for an earlier edition of the game. His cues got a digital release. This one is one of my favorite Shore cues ever, and I'm a Shore completist. smile

BEAUTIFUL music, thanks so much for posting!!

The first video contains two cues, played beginning to end.

For anyone wondering, based on the labeling of the video and onscreen, it appears they're called:

0:00 - 3:00 - Karaturam
3:08 - 6:32 - Alsahraa
