Over the years I have added several hundred titles to my collection on Soundtrackcollector.com. Yesterday I tried to log in to my account. I was not using my usual PC, and so my password was not saved on the PC or the browser. As I had forgotten my password, I clicked on the link for forgotten passwords, filled in my email address and clicked 'submit'. The next page said, "Your details have been sent to my email address." However, at the top of the page was the following text:

Warning: SimpleEmailService::sendEmail(): Sender - MessageRejected: Sending paused for this account. For more information, please check the inbox of the email address associated with your AWS account. Request Id: 09622981-e8a3-48fa-a93d-ac10fb82609c in /var/www/html/include/ses/ses.php on line 618

I checked my email account, and I had received no password reset email. I tried the forgotten password thing a few more times and got the same result each time. I received no password reset emails. Does anyone know what the problem is and how it can be fixed? I would really like to be able to access my Soundtrackcollector account again.

I assume that you are receiving other e-mails. Soundtrack Collector may have a bad e-mail address for you on their system. I'd just contact them directly at contact@soundtrackcollector.com.

I suppose it's possible that my email address on their system is "bad". However, as a test, I tried creating another account using a different email address. When I did so, I received a page with nothing on it apart from the following text:

Warning: SimpleEmailService::sendEmail(): Sender - MessageRejected: Sending paused for this account. For more information, please check the inbox of the email address associated with your AWS account. Request Id: e616dc57-916b-49b6-857b-43d443dcb000 in /var/www/html/include/ses/ses.php on line 618

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/html/include/ses/ses.php:618) in /var/www/html/include/webfunctions.php on line 124

It had created a new account with this different email, but there definitely seems to be something wrong with the Soundtrackcollector site. Is anyone else having similar problems with Soundtrackcollector?

Yes, that error message indicates the ability for that domain to send outgoing E-mail to you or anybody (their sender authentication/account is "paused"), not that something is wrong with your individual account or E-mail address.

As suggested above you're probably best to write contact @ soundtrackcollector.com (removing spaces) - assuming that they can RECEIVE mail there too. As well, their domain WHOIS contact information records lists soundtrackcollector.com @ contactprivacy.com (removing spaces) so you can CC: that in case it's tied to another account that is not against their domain that they might receive it at.

Alternatively you might want to maintain your tracking/collection building list at discogs.com. It should have mostly as complete an inventory and you can add what it doesn't have.

I cannot login to soundtrackcollector.com

If I want to login, it says: "We were not able to locate that e-mail and password combination."
I'm sure the password is correct.

If I try to reset the password, no reset mail arrives.

If I try to register, it says there is already an account with that email address (yeah, I know).

So, it's not just me having problems with resetting my password on Soundtrackcollector. There's definitely something wrong with the site.

I suppose I could rebuild my collection on Soundtrackcollector with my different email address. It will mean several tedious hours adding hundreds of titles to my account.

Alternatively, as you suggest, Trekfan, I could build my collection on Discogs. I had considered doing that. The advantage of Discogs is that I can also add all my non-soundtrack LPs, cassettes and CDs to my collection there.

I cannot login to soundtrackcollector.com

I just logged in moments ago with no problem, and all my saved recordings are there.

I just tried it as well again, but cannot login. I tried it from my smartphone and my laptop and different browsers.

My login data are correct.

But when I login it says: "We were not able to locate that e-mail and password combination."

If I try to reset my password, I get no mail to reset the password.

And if I try to re-register, it says there's already an account with this e-mail.

There seems to be something seriously broken.

I get the same error message in the headline:
Warning: SimpleEmailService::sendEmail(): Sender - MessageRejected: Sending paused for this account. For more information, please check the inbox of the email address associated with your AWS account. Request Id: b2398df1-5dab-491b-ae48-480ff3e3ef1c in /var/www/html/include/ses/ses.php on line 618

Not sure why. I experience no other problems with this email (and never have).
