Here's a nice article about Joel Whitburn in Billboard. Personally, I received my first Joel Whitburn Billboard book nearly 40 years ago as a gift and I've referred to his books constantly since then. https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/joel-whitburn-appreciation-chart-historian-1235088275/ "Steve Greenberg is the founder/CEO of S-Curve Records and manager of the band AJR. He is a two-time Grammy winner, and host of the Speed of Sound pop music history podcast. Like many music executives and music fans, historian Joel Whitburn’s game-changing Top Pop Singles book series were a constant companion — and, to this day, remain an immediate go-to resource. Whitburn died June 14 at the age of 82. Below, he shares in his own words his experiences with Whitburn’s work, and the enormous impact it had on him and so many other music obsessives." I loved this author like no other. Joel Whitburn's books were a masterpiece. I was just asked to write in college about the author. I found an essay writing service using https://writix.com/ for this. Then I will add something of my own, because I also have my own opinion about it. You will also need to re-read his essays, of course it’s sad at heart, but nothing can be done! I will definitely read it today or tomorrow. The news is certainly sad.
