For over 70 years, and even now almost two decades after his death in 2004, the name of Jerry Goldsmith has been an iconic addition to a host of science fiction movies, action films, thrillers, war movies and other genres, as well as television projects throughout the 1960s and 1970s, radio work, concert compositions and even familiar movie studio logo music and commercials. Very exciting news !!! Been wishing for official books on film composerrs and Jerry Goldsmith is a good one to start with. Also hope their is one on John Williams someday. Looking forward to more information on the book as more details and pre orders are announced soon. I'm sure Jeff Bond will do a great job writing this book his books and liner notes on CD Soundtracks I've always enjoyed.

I'm sure the author will be discussing the book on The Goldsmith Odyssey.
I certainly hope he will.
And I imagine The Odyssey will be referring to his book quite a bit for the next... what is it now? Likely 13 years?
