Question regarding ordering the English version of this book... pre-orders can be accepted starting on June 4th, but is there a tentative delivery date on this translated version?

I pre ordered and got an email of thanks and a request to review the book. I told them, well yeah once it actually arrives and I have a chance to read it! No ship date yet.

Let us know what you think! I trust your judgement.
Does that mean he has huge rotating eyes and catches insects with his tongue? I met him a few times and he never displayed such behavior in front of me.

You never saw it because he blended in so well with his surroundings.
My email says it is shipping as of yesterday. And like others to review it when it arrives. Looking forward to seeing this arrive and hopeful of the quality of the translation.
Lucky you... I spent whole week trying to get them to actually respond to my e-mail since their system is such a mess and now another 7+ days later still no confirmation of the actuall shipping date of the package.

It will be interesting to see how well the translation from Spanish to English goes.
"Chameleon" I recall someone in the TZ Companion referring to the young Robert Duvall as a "chameleon of an actor." And just today there's an article "A Chameleon Lands a Role On Broadway" in my print edition of the NY Times. Anyway, it's funny to see that word and Jerry Goldsmith in the same sentence. But I'm on record here for calling him one of the more "athletic" composers. I once had a darn good player on one of my baseball teams who was a gifted natural athlete. Put down a football and he's liable to kick a 30-yard field goal, that sort of thing. He just had a way of doing what was required to achieve success. In this strict sense, there may have been one or maybe two athletes on any given team, that's all. Goldsmith was an athlete. He did whatever was required no matter the kind of film to capture its pulse and elevate the darn thing whether it deserved it or not. The guy was a natural.
