Two cues from the show released. Sounds good! Hopefully he's created something magical again!

They do sound good indeed.
That Main Title is excellent.
Proper film music.

Those two pieces are very, very good. This makes me long even more for a second season of Taboo and his wonderful music.

Yes, sounds like trademark Richter -- which is a good thing. Shades of AD ASTRA in that second track. Looking forward to both show and music!

Looking forward to more Richter. Hope the show is good, too.

Sounds like they used "November" as a temp track for the Main Title.

Good catch BTTF.
I hadn't played Memoryhouse in a while, but yeah, it's deffo riffing on his November track.

Same. Haven't played MEMORYHOUSE in ages. While a lot of Richter often bleeds together (film music or classical albums), it's never in a negative sense. Maybe because I just love his sound so much.

I feel exactly the same way about Richter's music.

Whatever you do, don't watch the show, not unless you want to experience your brain atrophy in slow motion. I'm still recovering. It's strictly hate-watch material.

There was some issues with it, I agree. Some very bad characters for sure!
But it also had its moments. It was an OK show.

Loved the score though!

Do people actually subscribe to Apple TV streaming service? I asked this as someone who owns two iMacs, iPhone, Apple TV 3 and Apple TV 4 box.

Even though I'm not his biggest fan, I can't deny Richter alone was doing all the paddling to keep this listing canoe afloat, near impossible since Kinsberg and the rest of the production staff were all aft snorting a $200 million budget's worth of coke.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed this show, even though I have some minor issues (like that constantly hysterical mother, and some confusing elements in the resolve at the end). Particularly loved the short and tense episode inside the house.

However, outside the theme, Richter's score didn't do much for me. And I'm one of the biggest Richter fans around. With the exception of the two VOICES non-film albums, I haven't really been that excited about a Richter score since AD ASTRA two years ago.

Totally agree on both the mother (she was the worst about this show! lol!) and about that shorter episode!
It was so intense and nerve wrecking! :O

The score, I think I was a bit too excited about this since I also LOVE Richter (except his non-score stuff, which never really hits me...). But, I have noticed that it gets better and better as you listen to it. It kinda grows. Even the more dark/moody stuff sounds more and more interesting to me. The score is kind of a mix between Richter's work for MORGAN (dark, atmospheric) and AD ASTRA (specially the track "Event Horizon") (all though not as melodic in general). Will definitely be picking up the CD as soon as its available!

There was some moments/cues I was really missing from the release though. Specially the finale cue. Why on earth was that not included?? (luckily it could easily be ripped from the 5.1 audio without any sfx). There was also a moment in the pilot, one of the first scenes where the family wakes up to a beautiful morning which I really wish was included in the release...oh well!

Do people actually subscribe to Apple TV streaming service? I asked this as someone who owns two iMacs, iPhone, Apple TV 3 and Apple TV 4 box.

I do. And with Morning Show, Ted Lasso, For All Mankind, Servant, Home Before Dark and other I consider it the best yield-per-dollar streaming service.

Score to Invasion is excellent, by the way.

Am a subscriber also. And I agree about the score. Unfortunately, the show itself was, IMHO, quite dreadful.

Was about to cancel my subscription but am holding off in order to watch Coen's "Macbeth" which will be showing on Apple TV next month.
