I have a Kindle. Bought from amazon in 2012 (I was reminded today). I've only used it a few times (a mere three books occupy the thing) and it was last updated in 2016. The other night I ordered from amazon the book "Return to Tomorrow" (as recommended by LK in one of his blogs) but it did not "arrive". Called amazon today, only to be told that the reason I never got it was because my Kindle was out of date and I needed a new one if I still wanted to "receive" the book.
Still a lap-top luddite, can any of the more computer-erudite posters on here advise me on this? Do Kindles have a shelf-life??
