It's not going to be released at all, not on streaming, not on Bluray, that's the point of a write-off. Exactly. To do so would be the very definition of tax fraud.

I have a hard time believing that these directors who did such a great job recently, handling a young female superhero in Ms. Marvel, somehow made an unacceptably awful Batgirl film, with Michael Keaton in the cast no less. I very much doubt it's as bad as the "rumors" (no doubt put out by the studio) indicate. In fact given the talent, it's likely better than a lot of crap that gets released. Yavar

And if they do, they sure do it secretly and not advertise it as the latest DC comic book film for literally everyone (and the IRS) to see. :-)

Late to the "Chad" discussion, but I was greatly disappointed in Season Two's abrupt cancellation. Chad is a about a young teenage Persian boy desperately wanting to fit in with American culture and eschews his heritage but ends up creating his own problems by trying too hard; comedy ensues. The best thing about the show was there were NO bullies or enemies conspiring against him (well, maybe except for his fellow misfit friend, Denise). If everyone was mean to Chad, it would have undone the premise of the show and turned him into a sympathetic character – the tired old trope of "bullies versus nerds"; instead, the cool kids are nice to Chad and tolerate his antics, but Chad is his own worst enemy by always taking things too far. Love Nasim in just about everything she's in, and she really nails the angst of those who don't fit in. Easily a 10/10 for me, and the funniest thing on TV in quite some time. That being said, it does rely heavily on "cringe/awkward/uncomfortable situation" comedy, it's not everyone's cup of tea because that style can be so polarizing and subversive. The second season was to have Chad get a girlfriend who was his opposite: a cool new student who embraces her Persian heritage, while he continues to run from it.
