Music from 1946 Soundtrack, featured selections are the "Main Titles & Intro" and "End Titles" (containing sparse sound effects).
George Antheil (1900-1959) composed the original score. Cy Feuer (1911-2006) was the music director of this picture. Ernest Gold (1921-1999) and Nathan Scott (1915-2010) orchestrated Antheil's score and also composed additional music without being credited within the titles.
"That Brennan Girl" is a 1946 melodrama film produced and directed by Alfred Santell (1895-1981). It was reissued in 1951 as a re-edited version under the new title "Tough Girl" without the director's involvement.
At first glance, a movie with the title THAT BRENNAN GIRL (or even TOUGH GIRL) doesn't appear to warrant much attention - but just listen to the above-posted cues! Antheil is putting out tremendous material here.
Just another reason for his film music works to be revived. I would love to hear his score to THE PLAINSMAN in either a new or original recording as well.

Glad you appreciate the segments even if the movie features an uninteresting title. The title of the re-edited version isn't any better.
Here is a final suite of musical sequences from "That Brennan Girl". Again it contains some dialogue & sound effects. Some portions within that suite might have been composed by Gold or Scott. But I don't know for sure.
