I was watching "The Trouble With Tribble's" and McCoy said Tribble's are born pregnant and Bi-Sexual.
Wouldn't that make them Asexual?

No, bisexual means having (the capabilities) of both sexes, whereas asexual means without sex. That's not quite the same. Most higher organisms reproduce sexually, a few of those can reproduce bisexually, and some organisms like bacteria reproduce asexually. So if tribbles are born pregnant, their offspring may have still been produced sexually.

Thanks for the explaination. So based on what you said I did some more research. Bisexual refers to hermaphroditic organisms. Asexual organisms produce clones of themselves. Fascinating! Here I was questioning Dr. McCoy. embarrassment

There was this sex educational theme running on MeTV Sci Fi Saturday night. On Buck Rogers they came across these eight dwarfs who reproduce without a female partner. They've never seen a female before and were obsessed with Wilma Deering's "bumps". They tried to use "the force" to undress her. It was all played for laughs.

So FSM members are asexual and not bisexual, correct? Still trying to learn all this stuff...

Can someone please explain homo sapiens, it's not what I thought it meant. My understanding of biology is all messed up.

You must have been watching some weird dub. McCoy doesn't say they're bisexual, he says they're asexual.

And brother, have they got a lot of a will.

But clearly Tribbles are racist and what not, since there are no females and no fake "non binary" Tribbles. Clearly the Klingons were right and they needed to be destroyed. ;-)

It's when two sapiens are attracted to each other, I think.

Are you sure? I heard bisexual. Kinda hard to get bisexual from asexual. Maybe it was some kinda weird woke dub or a joke someone was playing on us?

Now this is some bizarre shit. There are two versions. One where he says "asexual", which is what old TV re-runs showed, and a "bisexual" version, which I've been unaware existed until today.

Is this some kind of re-visionist bullshit thing?

I prefer my Tribbles not be naughty. I won't even look online, for fear of there being a dirty Tribbles porn film.

And the winner is "Bi-sexual" (although my memory thought it was "asexual" as well).

Whew! Glad I wasn't imagining this! Of course there's a difference between Bi-Sexual and bisexual.
(Not that there's anything wrong with that)
