It was marked as "temporarily out of stock" for some time, so I guess either a re-pressing wasn't possible or Intrada decided not to print another batch.

Aaarrrggghhh! Not fair! I was patiently awaiting it's restocking so that I could order it! Damn! And on the 50th anniversary as well. Not the first time the rug has been pulled out from under me - and it won't be the last, I'm sure. The secondary market will be overjoyed.
watched this recently; pretty cute (as Reynolds himself described it) definitely not a classic, but has colorful characters. Not much of a plot though, and it just kind of ends. Overall, the kind of movie my dad would enjoy watching as he drifts in and out of a nap!

It was such a treat decades ago when the actual music from the movie could be heard in the trailer.

I double checked with Roger and he confirmed it’s OOP from Intrada. Their master is still available for online download from the studio, though! (I would speculate that lossless download availability might have played into Intrada’s calculus about whether it was worth continuing to print physically. I would advise anyone who wants a copy of Face of a Fugitive to get it now, because that was also Columbia/Sony.)
Sad. I waited, when they finally do another pressing, but alas... Let's hope someone will re-release it in next 5+ (or so) years. Thanks heaven that's Jerry still sells - premiere, re-release, re-re-release.

Goldsmith always sells - I'd even buy a second CAPRICORN ONE if it had the OST on a second disc
This may have been mentioned already, but currently Tubi is running this film if you want to watch it for free (albeit with commercial interruptions): https://tubitv.com/movies/695559/shamus
