GLADIATOR 2---an Australian gossip magazine claims Russell Crowe and Chris Hemsworth are discussing co-producing the sequel with Chris Hemsworth starring as the adult son of Maximus, “Russell thinks he could be the only man to credibly play his son in a Gladiator sequel.” Ridley Scott supposedly would be returning as the director.
MASTERS OF THE AIR---Raff Law, son of Jude Law, will play Sergeant Ken Lemmons in the Tom Hanks/Steven Spielberg/Apple+ World War II miniseries.
GOODNIGHT MOMMY---Naomi Watts will star in this Amazon remake of the 2014 Austrian horror movie.
MOTHER LAND---horror movie underway about a family haunted by evil spirits until one of the children questions its reality. Mark Romanek (NEVER LET ME GO) is the director.
GOLDA MEIR---Helen Mirren will star in this untitled biomovie about the Israeli leader during the Yom Kippur War.
TRIVIA---Ralph Meeker co-starred as a captain in two movies in which rope-climbing up a prominent building were featured in the plot. In THE DIRTY DOZEN, Meeker played Army psychiatrist Dr. Kinder, who evaluates a dozen Army prisoners assigned to climb up a French chateau and kill many German generals inside. In THE ANDERSON TAPES, Meeker played NYPD Capt. Delaney, who orders a SWAT team to climb up an exclusive apartment building that is being robbed by Duke Anderson (Sean Connery) and his gang.

That picture of that boy from Gladiator is actually Lucius, who is not Maximus's son. Maximus's son was actually killed in the movie. Maximus discovered him crucified. Gladiator is a favorite of mine, but I don't have much interest in a sequel.
