Nice selection, governor - although not film music, as far as I can tell. I don't actually have that one, but I have the TAKE ME ALONG album. Acquired because of Williams, and I assume that's Williams on the left there too?

"The program wasn't designed to alter the past. It was designed to affect the future." Source Code (Original Motion Picture Score) - Chris Bacon
The Duncan Jones sci-fi thriller, which deals with time travel and time loops was released in theaters a decade ago today. Although the movie was well received by critics at the time. It doesn’t seem to be talked about much today. Chris Bacon’s tense score seems to have gotten overlooked as well. The suspenseful “Main Title“, which contains the main theme/motif and the very pleasant “Frozen Moment”, which features the emotional theme getting closure, are both highlights. Aside from this movie and the Bates Motel TV series it seems that Bacon’s career didn’t really take off unfortunately. These days he’s mostly been contributing additional music on some of Danny Elfman’s recent projects (Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Goosebumps, Men In Black: International). Hopefully he’ll get more opportunities to headline projects like this again.

It's a GREAT film. And score -- very JNH at times, which makes sense since I believe Bacon was a student's of JNH's.
