Last this year or last ever? I usually partake in these sales.
The last forever, at least by the current operators of the WBshop website. The current outfit has lost the contract and some new fulfillment service will be taking over soon. Apparently it's the site operator and not Warner Bros. or the Warner Archive that sets the sales policies. The Archive just provides the product.
The fine print on the website states that "WB Shop is owned and operated by Araca Merchandise L.P. under license from Warner Bros. Consumer Products Inc."
Oh damn, that sucks! Thxs, I'll have to get a last order in lickety-split!
If I remember correctly the 4 for $44 dollars applies to more than 4 titles. If you order six or eight titles whatever, you'll get the extra titles at a discounted price.
Oh you lucky sods in the States, I hate to think how much 25 WAC Blu-rays would cost me in the UK. It works out about £21-£24 now, after tax changes, but I don't mind too much if it's a film that I really want, as Warner does such a great job on them. The last two bought was Mister Roberts & The Curse Of Frankenstein, & I intend ordering Annie Get Your Gun (& I'm thinking about Damn Yankees).
I've bought from wbshop.com many times and did not get an email from them---I saw the 4/$44 sale posted on bluray.com.
I don't recall if I signed up for email alerts or if they automatically put me on their email list after my first purchase with them, but I've gotten emails every time they've had this sale.
Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever received an email from wbshop.
I've purchased from WBshop for years. I've gotten many e-mails from them pushing sales of their collectables, but never one offering me a discount code.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially confirmed that WB Shop is no more. It’s been closed for good, and is essentially being supplanted by the new Warner Archive “Brand Room” on Amazon.com. So that’s where you’ll be buying Warner Archive Blu-ray and DVD titles from now on.
That's fine with me. The Warner shop didn't export, so all those great sales were no good to anyone outside of the US. I buy most of them from Wow HD, but with UK tax changes they now cost £20-£24 each, but if it's a film I really want, I don't mind, as Warner do such a great job on them.
