I still am eagerly awaiting the day Michael Kamen's The Three Musketeers will be released in an expanded format. I listened to the film again and came up with this list of cues (titles all my own, except when used from OST)

The OST score (not including "All for Love" by Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting) totaled 37:55.

1. Opening Titles* (:36) / The Cavern of Cardinal Richelieu (film version)** (2:42)
2. D'Artagnan vs. Gerard* (1:16)
3. D'Artagnan (film version)** (2:37)
4. Burning the Flag* / Musketeers Disbanded* (3:45)
5. D'Artagnan Rescues the Queen (2:02) / Athos, Porthos and Aramis (film version with choral "Amen!")** (5:51)
6. The Queen and the Cardinal (film version) (:33)
7. Louis XIII and the Cardinal I (film version)** / Rochefort and the Musketeers* (3:18)
8. The Duel** / Swordfight / D'Artagnan Captured* (6:51)
9. The Dungeon* (2:44)
10. M'Lady DeWinter and the Cardinal (film version)** (2:34)
11. D'Artagnan Captured Again* (:28)
12. Execution** / The Cardinal's Coach (film version)** / Cardinal's Bounty* (8:57)
13. Tavern Source #1* (2:44)
14. Tavern Source #2* (1:05)
15. Atho's Story* (1:49)
16. Cannonballs (film version)** (1:31)
17. Constance-Lady in Waiting (film version)** (1:46)
18. Cardinal Seduces the Queen** (1:25)
19. Musketeers Ambush** (2:42)
20. The King and the Cardinal II* / D'Artagnan Found* (2:36)
21. D'Artagnan and M'Lady** / Ship Ambush* / Athos and M'Lady* (13:09)
22. All for One, One for All** (:48)
23. The Assassination Attempt** / The Battle I** (6:08)
24. The Battle II** (3:47)
25. The Battle III (Clash of Swords)** (6:43)
26. The Final Confrontation** (:29)
27. The Fourth Musketeer (film version)** (3:25)

* Previously Unreleased
** Includes Previously Released material from OST

Total Score Time (approximate to film soundtrack): 94:21

So there's tons of great material that would be great in an expansion.

Any others you want to add, feel free!

I like this score a lot — great job on your breakdown! Hopefully Intrada considers a release or already has one in the works.

I thought this had bizarre rights issues, though maybe I'm thinking of X-Men?

X-Men is the one in limbo (as is one of my personal Grails, Event Horizon)

As for Musketeers

Disney movie, album on Hollywood Records, I can see Intrada doing it!

This is currently my most wanted Kamen expansion. I very much hope Intrada has this one at the top of their worklist!

A complete Three Musketeers would be an insta-buy (TM) for me.

I was listening to the old album just before Christmas and it really is a fantastic score. I always preferred this to the more popular Robin Hood. I remember the last time I watched the film thinking that there were some great bits particularly towards the end, that it would have been great to have included on the CD.
A few Kamen scores seemed to suffer the fate at the time of not including music for some of the climactic scenes. Something to do with hurrying out cd releases before scoring was finalised?

Love this score and would buy an expanded new release in a heartbeat.

I couldn't find it in me to watch the Brat Pack version of the Three Musketeers, so I've never heard the score.

I do love the Kamen score and chances are, if you like ROBIN HOOD PRINCE OF THIEVES, you will enjoy this score too, as it's cut from very similar cloth.
But I will always remember it with initial disappointment, when David Newman's name was not on the poster.
Newman and Herek (the director) had been on a previous 4 hit film run (CRITTERS, BILL&TED 1, DON'T TELL MOM... & THE MIGHTY DUCKS) and I would have loved to hear what David Newman would have done with a film like this, at that time of his writing.
Herek stuck with Kamen for his next few films, but he did re-team with Newman for some later films.

I'm not sure something qualifies as a 'holy grail' when it has a perfectly fine soundtrack already. Discuss!

Nothing to discuss.
There's only 37 minutes, of a 92 minute symphony, been made available for listening purposes.
Basic maths points up the massive imbalance there.
Some people enjoy the cliff notes, others prefer the whole enchilada.
This thread was about a much wanted/requested expanded edition.

Thor's beating the same old dead horse again. Discuss.

Yeah, hard to believe he wants to take this thread down that road again.
The OP already laid out the reasons for wanting the extra score music.
Wasn't the original album just hastily thrown together anyway, while Kamen was still writing and recording the last reels?
Hardly the perfect album representation situation.

Let’s hear you Thor. I always enjoy reading your opinions but as you’re bringing this up again why does it have to be the best to have a short album? Do you only have a musical tolerance threshold of about 30 minutes?
Some original score releases have the climactic music totally absent ( like EVENT HORIZON) or maybe one of the best cue’s absent ( the chase through the Venice ’streets’ from Trevor Jones’ brilliant LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN)
Should music not be taken on its own merits rather than a constricting time allowance?
I’m not having a go at you here by the way..I’m interested in your view on this.

It's an illness. Be kind.
