My pleasure. He's done some 'remixing' on a few of the Budd soundtracks and you'd be hard pressed to hear some of the cues in any of the films the music was written for. A lot of it is quite good but the 'house mix' of Marseille Contract isn't that brilliant to my own ears.
I like the score a lot - it's a bit repetitive though and there isn't a lot of it in the actual film (which really isn't very good IMO).
[EDIT: Just checked Fishman's notes to the Cinephile CD release of several years ago and they confirm the house mix is his: he says that when he came to work on the track he rediscovered Budd's piano rhythms and couldn't believe how much it sounded like a house track so he remixed it into a full-on house mix...]

Thanks again!
I am admittedly not too fond of this particular track, but if Fishman remixed "Jazz it Up" from the same album, he did a killer job on that one!

He certainly did, and I love that track too. Doesn't appear in the film of course.
There's a similar piece of work in 'Foxbat' (part of the original Something To Hide/Internecine Project CD and the cue was titled 'FB M15' or something) which is wah-wah guitar and congas for nearly 5 minutes and is a great track. It's pretty obvious it's been 'worked on' and as far as I remember doesn't appear in the Foxbat film (which is also pretty dire, IMO).
Actually there was music in Foxbat that isn't on disc; it would be quite nice if that could be located for release someday, as opposed to yet another re-issue of Get Carter
