These three songs always, without fail, cheer up my mood if they come on the radio or in a shop/on my playlist. It's a combination of nostalgic memories (the time...the place) and their upbeat tunefulness.
When I was going into the office 3 days a week, I would play Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" to get me ready to start my day. The security guard at the gate could hear it when I opened my car window to swipe my badge and always sang along with it as I drove by him! worked every time.
Lots of Beatles songs already give me a "natural high", but the ones that actually cheer me up, just to name a handful:
"I Feel Fine" "Rain" "Dear Prudence" "I Saw Her Standing There" "Taxman" "Penny Lane" "She Loves You" "Please Please Me"
Some Monkees songs that do the same:
"Sunny Girlfriend" "I'm A Believer" "You Just May Be The One" "Pleasant Valley Sunday" "Daydream Believer" "Circle Sky" "Randy Scouse Git (Alternative Title)" "As We Go Along"
Definitely agree with Kev about Mr. Blue Sky and Jenkwombat and The Beatles and The Monkees. Lots of disco songs cheer me up. Hate 'em if you will, but so many of them had upbeat lyrics.
Back in the 80s and early 90s I did quite a bit of business travel and whenever I would be on a flight back home, Rafferty's Home and Dry would play in my head.

What are yours?
I can't but dance, sing along, and smile when I listen to that song.
Speaking of The Monkees... This is already a few years old (!). But when it came out, we listened to it constantly all that summer. Mickey is still in fine voice. What a fun tune--a tonic at any time.
Someone posted the music video for this song on another thread a while ago (apologies for no credit as I can't remember who it was), and I've always loved it but hadn't heard it in years. Here's another video of a TV performance this time. I do love those coconuts
Good shout, Joan. When the world was normal(ish), whenever me and Carole would drive to the Lakes or Wales for the weekend, we would blast the Carpenters CD in the car. Sing and Top Of The World are two songs that cause spontaneous breakout of singalong when they come on
