Who else would like to see some of the scores from this 1970s TV Series released?

Some really rousing western music by both Composers and an absolutely fantastic Main and End Title by Jerrold Immel.

I’ve been watching this show on DVD the past couple of weeks and it’s been a pleasure.

What do you think? How about you, Justin?

Well, I'm not Justin, but you can sign me up. Arness was wonderful in it. Great music. I'm hoping for a multiple CD set.

The main theme to this is something I was looking for for like 15+ years after I played a wind ensemble arrangement of it (or more likely a suite) in high school.

I just might rip the M/E Titles from the DVD and add it to my iPhone:-)

Would be nice to have, but needs to wait in line till after Addison's excellent TV western score for "Centennial" gets released.

I sampled it briefly a few years ago, but never had a chance to really get into the scoring, but as a fan of Immel, I will one day. Rest assure, if I ever do the miniseries, I'll use your thread instead of creating a new one.

I would buy it in a flash, it was an excellent western miniseries!

I would have thought that FSM or Intrada would have put out a CD a while ago...

I don't know anything about this series (not even sure it was broadcast in the UK?), but if any release featured the scores by Bruce Broughton, I'd be on it like a shot.
Broughton + Western Americana = film music nirvana for me.

Arness certainly was wonderful in it, as was Bruce Boxleitner! Another great western mini-series was Dream West (1986), it had some terrific music by Fred Karlin, and would make an excellent 2 CD set release, just sayin'...

It was on ITV - it even got in Look-in.
