Has anyone had any experience buying anything from Keep Moving Records? All I know is they are a soundtrack label out of Russia.

If anyone has any information about them, or any personal experience dealing with them, I would like to hear about it.

Thanks

Ordered fron them twice.
Last time - just month ago.
Never had problems. Shipping next day after ordering, got tracking number same time (it will be valid as international tracking too).

Me too. I’ve ordered there new CDs. They haven’t arrived yet but I’m not concerned. My past orders have been fulfilled and emails have always been answered by Dimitry.

Never had a problem with them. I have ordered from them numerous times. Once I contacted them and they were helpful. Also everything I have bought (A lot of gambles) have been to my liking.

Buy with confidence from Keep Moving Records and Dmitry.
Great label.
Great scores.
Great prices.
They're one of my favourite soundtrack labels.

I can only repeat the positive feedback. Please let us know what titles you order and your assessment of them when they come through.

I placed an order back in October and got my CDs from Moscow, Russia faster than I have from inside the U.S.

As a matter of fact they even offered me a free 4th CD because I ordered 3. I don't know if that is a regular thing.

Everything came in perfect condition.

I was very satisfied with their service and plan to order again from them when they have more titles I want.

Aye James, Dmitry has offered me a bonus CD in the past too, when ordering 3.
Wind Man by Yuri Poteyenko is a big favourite of mine.
I listened to some samples, read the film synopsis and fell in love with the music (and the film I conjured in my minds' eye).
It's a glorious score. Short, but compelling.
And it's available for 3 dollars or something!!

A Russian company called "Keep Moving" Records. They really didn't think that one thru.

I moved many times between 1987 and 1994. And I was always lugging records with me.

Dmitry is a great, reliable seller. When he was somewhat newer to the marketplace and to me, I decided to try and find an obscure Morricone score for THE DEMONS OF ST. PETERSBURG, which I did get. The quality of the release led me to put in a "big" order for just about everything in his catalogue. And he delivered quality soundtracks in mass quantities. Heartily recommended. I gotta check his site out again and see what's new.

I wonder how the whole sh!t show has affected this fine film score label.
Obviously the invasion far far overshadows any need for film scores on CD.
But I wonder how Dmitri has fared over the past year, with the madness that has ensued.
Such a shame despots (of all kinds and parties) are still - and always will be - a thing.

Nice owner. Not sure why I made the previous joke above embarrassment I tried ordering from them several times but my bank won't accept their charges. And this was before the war. I was able to get a friend to order some CD's from them though.

BTW, contrary to popular belief both Russia and Ukraine are still producing products for the market.
Their economies are not completely shut down.

There's no direct link to their site.
No new titles have been added to Discogs since before the war/invasion.
There are links via Instagram and Facebook, but I wouldn't know if they're also old ones, since I don't do social media malarkey.

I wondered too. Dimitry was very nice in his replies to my emails. And if you ordered a certain amount he would send you an email telling you to pick one for free. Had problems with my credit card too but my last order went through. My sympathies.

Maybe all the trouble has had a bigger effect being that it's a small company.

Considering the loss of soldiers, scooping up civilians to fight, releasing violent prisoners to fight, it's lucky he hasn't been drafted and killed yet. I'd sneak out of there if I was him. It's not going to get better.

I imagine he shifted a lot of his titles via other Soundtrack retailers in Europe and maybe USA and Japan too...and that option may have been closed down after the war began.

Then again, he may have been called up and sent to the front-line!!!

They had a website. According to archived pages on Archive.org, it appears to have gone down sometime early February to sometime March of last year. Last archived page when the site was still up:

What a shame, great guy from my interactions and great label. I hope he’s okay.
