Gilbert and Aviator are two of his best roles IMO, but I thought he was superb in Wolf too. A+ for effort. I thought his muscle failure scenes were some of his best stuff (from taking too many drugs).

This had me baffled for a moment, trying to think of what role he has in Wolf! But you mean the Wall Street movie.

Good in all you mentioned, and also The Great Gatsby I thought.

Maybe The Revenant too, though that movie is a grim slog.

Ive never been a huge fan of diCaprio but Wolf of wall street and Revenant won me over. The man has talent.

Before we go any further, we must remember his twin triumphs of 2010: Shutter Island and Inception - two variations of a performance of a man psychologically haunted by a dead wife.

And, of course, probably my favorite: His stammering, temperamental Rick Dalton in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood from last year.

Are you talking about the guy from Growing Pains? What's he been up to lately?

I've always thought he was first rate, his performance in The Departed is for me the only thing that makes that film worth watching, and yeah his turn in Once upon a Time in Hollywood is superb.
