Let me say up front I'm not a "gamer". Never got into computer games. But I grew up on arcade games and have a lot of fondness for them. There's several companies making very accurate mini replicas of fan favorite arcade games that work like the actual arcade game.
Here's two out of box reviews for Dragons Lair. This is stunning work. Not only replicating every single aspect of the cabinet and game play but options included in the menu.
I have been really impressed with the 1Up Arcade machines. I haven't checked out Dragon's Lair yet, but I did get this:
An indulgence, but the Star Wars and Return of the Jedi arcade games had always been favorites of mine since I was a kid, and it has been a lot of fun playing the games again. They have the look, feel, and sounds of the games I grew up with. I have also tried their version of Galaga which is also great.
If I had unlimited space and money I would love to have some more in my collection. The Ms. Pacman looks really cool as do several others.
I have never tried the 1:6 version of an arcade game. The animation is so fantastic in Dragon's Lair, I wonder how well it looks on the tiny screen.

Wow, way cool. But way out of my price range I'm afraid. I'll have to stick with the 12 inchers if I get anything.
BTW, I don't think the Dragon's Lair mini game would be very playable. It requires precision timing and that's gonna be nearly impossible with those small knobs and buttons. I want it more as a replica show piece and collectable. I'll have fun watching the attract mode though. One thing they should've added which I don't think they did was a preview mode so you can watch the whole game without playing it like the Blu Rays of the game.
