On episode 5 of this so far, all i'm getting is a Justin Hurwitz First Man soundalike in certain places - anyone else getting this?
Never thought about this, but now that you mention it! Really loved that score (First Man) btw!
I'm also on episode 5 (kinda want to save the rest for the weekend, lol!) In episode 4 I actually heard a cue which had a very quiet and calm version of Rupert Gregson-Williams "Duck Shot" theme. It was a beautiful version! It surprised me since he's no longer the composer, but maybe it was tracked from season 1 or 2? It was the scene where Elizabeth had lunch with Anne under the tree.
Actually, this theme it's a really calm and eerie version of "Duck Shoot" from Rupert Gregson-Williams S01 score towards the end. I really missed those beats in S03. Awesome job from Martin!
I have zero interest in this series, but I've been curious about the score. I absolutely love Phipp's scores for THE VIRGIN QUEEN, BRIGHTON ROCK and VICTORIA, and hoping this is more of the same. So I can do with this what I did with DOWNTON ABBEY -- get the great soundtrack by John Lunn, and skip the series itself.
A single 'album' would do, though. I don't need four seasons' worth.

Oh I hear it now that you point it out! That's awesome! Maybe this is the track I heard from episode 4 under the tree?
There is another track from the new OST called "The Diana Effect" which is amazing! It's from the Australia episode. I Shazamed it and they told me the name of that cue. Even though its not actually available yet.
