Hi Film Music Fans,

Omni Music Publishing has released its first analysis video. It is a short walk-through of Alan Silvestri's cue "Disintegrated Einstein," from Back To The Future. It shows not only the octatonic scale, but how Silvestri utilized it to the fullest to create the music from this beloved film score classic.

What happened to Omni's own channel, which had a video about the Willow theme on it?

Excellent analysis. Thanks so much for this!

Alex

P.D.: Please, oh please, give us some Herrmann, North, Rósza, Barry and Williams... and throw in some Morricone as well!

For sure they will only do videos on the scores they published (or do you mean you want the scores of those?)

Yes to both!

They already have a Herrmann published, and hopefully they'll be able to publish their first Barry and Morricone soon.

One can dream...

Alex
