Outland seems to be off the SAE list, too.

I've got WOK but not SPOCK.

I'm sure a lot of people on this board already know where they stand in concerns to what does and doesn't interest them in the FSM catalogue, but I've gotta say that almost every single one of these releases are absolute gems in their own way, and if you have an open mind and a few dollars to spare then you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of them. I don't even want to think about all the OOP titles I missed out on...

Here are a few I already own that are included in the sale, and can't recommend highly enough!

Marathon Man / The Parallax View
The Wild Bunch
The Comedians / Hotel Paradiso
A Man Called Horse (!!)
The TV Omnibus (on the pricey side, but all this music is just pure gold)
Hunters Are For Killing
Cleopatra Jones
Prophecy
The Silver Chalice
Broken Lance (!!!)
Above and Beyond (!!!!!)
Scaramouche
THX 1138
Between Heaven & Hell
The Taking Of Pelham 123

Thanks to this sale I picked up Bullitt, Untamed, White Dog, the Johnny Mandel 3-fer, Eye Of The Devil, and Zig Zag / The Super Cops (incredibly, I think I got the last one -- sorry everyone!). So many more I wish I could purchase, but this batch was financially irresponsible for me already.

Thanks to this sale, I discovered Mancini's super cool The Thief Who Came To Dinner! Looking forward to receiving my copy, along with the TV Omnibus.

How is it that Logan's Run has not sold out almost 19 years after it was released? Not enough people enjoy Jerry Goldsmith's great score for it to go out of print? Unbelievable.

I think there were re-pressings of some of the more popular titles.

"...which sellers often mistakenly list as being out of print".

Perhaps because FSM announced that they were sold out? aka they lied.

Oh, 'cmon! I saw some titles the day they were released, at eBay. And sellers already describe them as "rare & oop!" big grin
It's some kind of tradition - if something costs $19,99 - just write "rare & oop!" in description, and you can ask $25+ for that item!

They pressed and sold more copies of Logan's Run than they had a license for. Apparently the title was a gravy train for FSM. LK came clean on this and made amends with the licensor. Perhaps they negotiated an extended or open ended license.

I thought I'd bought all the FSM CDs I wanted. I listened again to the Scaramouche samples, & I'm just not in love with the sound, but I think I've found one...The Spy With My Face: The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Movies, it sounds so sixties groovy, I think I'll have to have that one.

Ooo, $59 from you or $15 from SAE, that's a tough choice smile

Actually it works out at just over £21 with p&p to the UK, still expensive for a CD these days, but that's how it is. I'll decide tomorrow.

But you see, my OOP copy is worth more. I only have one copy, so it's OOP amongst my collection. wink

Well that just makes my copy more valuable. Price hike $74.95.
