Is the thing on the back left supposed to be Jaws? I can't really tell.

Well done, Wedge!

It's also a good reminder, not that that we're supposed to need it, of just how important to film music, and to film, the man has been.

Just think how much less memorable those films could have been, with a less-talented composer.

Shame you can't buy that Lego JW figure.
I know what I'd be getting our boys for Christmas.
Much better than those Avengers, Star Wars and Ninjago ones they play with.

Yeah, it's the mounted head of a brick-built LEGO shark (from set 7773). razz

You can't buy it whole, but if you make an account at BrickLink you can buy it piecemeal:

BASEPLATE (generic):
Tile, Modified 3 x 4 with 4 Studs in Center
Item No: 88646, Black

LEGS (generic):
Hips & Legs
Item No: 970c00, Black

TORSO (from a Cedric Diggory minifigure):
Black Torso Jacket with Wide Lapels, White Shirt with Black Bow Tie and Vest Pattern / Black Arms / Light Nougat Hands
Item No: 973pb3697c01

HEAD (from a recent Dumbledore minifigure):
Light Nougat Minifigure, Head Dual Sided White Eyebrows and Beard, Gold Glasses, Grin / Smile with Teeth Pattern - Hollow Stud
Item No: 3626cpb2670

HAIR (from a recent Ernie Prang minifigure):
Light Nougat Minifigure, Hair Male Bald Top with White Short Hair Pattern
Item No: 12893pb03

BATON (Voldemort's wand):
White Minifigure, Utensil Wand, 2 on Sprue
Item No: 36752c01, White

OSCAR (generic gold LEGO trophy):
Minifigure, Utensil Statuette / Trophy
Item No: 90398, Metallic Gold

In some cases, it might be simpler to just purchase the component minifigures (that is, the correct versions of Cedric Diggory, Dumbledore and Ernie Prang) and tack on the base, wands and trophy. Individual parts, if not rare, are usually pretty inexpensive with BrickLink; the trick is to buy from the fewest sellers so you don't pay a boatload in shipping. Adding the parts to a want list and using the associated buying tools helps.

Well, he has a cameo (differently attired) in the latest STAR WARS movie...

Thanks for the tips, Wedge (not sure how happy the G-Kids will be of me buying them Lego stuff they've never heard of...THEN robbing the pieces from them!!) smile

Has John Williams finally LEGO of Star Wars? wink

Refreshing thread! And amazing idea too.

With all the ponytails from my child's Lego Friends sets I can build Jerry Goldsmith conducting, in batsuit, taking out Scooby-Doo...

Atta boy Wedge! Can I request an expansion? I think a little McCauly Culkin would be a fantastic addition. Maybe even a Rufio!

We're actually getting an official Home Alone set at some point! It passed the LEGO Ideas review stage earlier this year. So yes, it will eventually be possible to add Kevin McCallister to the lineup. Rufio, on the other hand, is exceedingly unlikely ... it'd probably have to be custom printed to be convincing!

In the meantime, I made a more permanent display with an old friend... smile

This is great! Awesome job! I love collecting toys, so I can really appreciate this for multiple reasons.
