This is a real loss to the fans of the Irwin Allen properties. He was a fan as well as an exec and without him, we'd probably have a lot less of what we do in regards to home video, music, books, models and so on. Not to mention the Netflix LIS series. I have no idea what the disposition of the Irwin Allen properties will be, but it's a sinch that whoever takes control won't be nearly as devoted to it. Also all who knew him say he was a hell of a sweet guy, very generous and fun. He was very patient with fans and I wish I had met him myself.
