BLACK WIDOW---new photos from the Marvel movie show Natasha (Scarlett Johansson), Yelena (Florence Pugh) and Taskmaster.
TRON 3---Jared Leto posted a photo of himself getting physically ready for the sequel with the caption, "Starting the Tron workout ????...join me?"
STAR TREK---Noah Hawley said his his movie that was shelved by Paramount Pictures would be connected to earlier STAR TREK movies but would have new characters, “We’re not doing Kirk and we’re not doing Picard. It’s a start from scratch that then allows us to do what we did with FARGO where for the first three hours you go, ‘Oh, it really has nothing to do with the movie,’ and then you find the money. So you reward the audience with a thing that they love." The movie was about a “virus that wipes out vast parts of the known universe” which is one reason why Paramount shelved it.
CUTIES---audience complaints that the controversial Netflix movie promotes the sexualization of young children has apparently led to record subscription cancellations. Analytics firm YipitData said Netflix cancellations from September 9-12, when CUTIES premiered, were eight times higher than the August daily rate.
UNDONE BY BLOOD OR THE SHADOW OF A WANTED MAN---AMC/Norman Reedus tv series underway based on the Western comic book about a woman who seeks revenge on her family's killers. The synopsis states, "As Ethel navigates the eccentric town and its inhabitants, she learns that the quaint veneer hides a brewing darkness. She has no choice but to descend into a ring of depravity and violence, with her only ally an Old West novel that follows famed gunslinger Solomon Eaton. As both stories unfold simultaneously, a love of fiction informs choices in reality, for better or worse.” Reedus will play gunslinger Solomon Eaton.
OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH---HBO Max/Taika Waititi comedy tv series based on the true story of Stede Bonnet who gave up his comfortable lifestyle to become a pirate.
SHE-HULK---Kat Coiro (MARRY ME) is in talks to direct the Disney+ pilot and several episodes of the tv series based on the Marvel comic book.
MADONNA---Universal Pictures untitled Madonna biomovie underway. Madonna is the director and co-writer with Diablo Cody. TRIVIA---in the original THE WAR OF THE WORLDS, producer George Pal wanted Lee Marvin to play Dr. Clayton Forrester, but gave the role to Gene Barry. Co-star Ann Robinson said, "Years later, my son was working on THE MIKE DOUGLAS SHOW and he told me Lee Marvin was going to be on. I said, 'Ask him about being up for that part in WAR OF THE WORLDS.' And it was all news to Lee Marvin, he hadn't had the slightest idea."

WOTW. Well, we would have been robbed of Gene Barry's greatest screen role. On the other hand that scientist might have had a LOT more personality. We'll never know. But I am happy with the guy we got.
She Hulk. Great. Way to do it Hollywood. Wish someone had told Doctor Who how to do this kind of thing. There's always that side way of doing stuff...
