SPIDER-WOMAN---Olivia Wilde would not name what Marvel superhero her upcoming Sony Pictures movie will be about, but sources claim it is Spider-Woman, “All I can say is that this is by far the most exciting thing that’s happened to me because not only do I get to tell a story that…. listen to me, trying to avoid Kevin Feige’s pellet gun. We are seeing this incredible influx of female directors and storytellers getting to take hold of this genre, this super hero space, and infuse it with their own perspective. Not only do I get to tell the story as a director but I get to develop the story and that was what made it so incredible for me."
STAR WARS: EPISODE I--THE PHANTOM MENACE---Liam Neeson defended co-star Ahmed Best, whose character, Jar Jar Binks, is hated by many fans, "It really hurt his career. And I have to say when I was making that film… he was probably one of the funniest guys and talented guys I had ever worked with. I remember calling my old ex-agent at ICM and said, 'I think I just worked with the new Eddie Murphy.' I still believe that. Truly, he had all of his in stitches — including George Lucas. TRIVIA---in MIDNIGHT RUN, bounty hunter Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) was a former Chicago undercover cop whose career and marriage were ruined by mobster Jimmy Serrano (Dennis Farina). In reality, Farina was a Chicago cop for 18 years before he was a consultant on Michael Mann's THIEF which led to his career as an actor.
