This was one of the earliest films I saw in a theater--at a summer afternoon matinee. Who knew that nearly 55 years later, I'd be able to buy its music?

Was the film in color?

Yes, very much so. And the larger budget allowed for numerous enhancements. Grandpa Munster's eyebrows are actual hairpieces, whereas in the series they're just penciled on.

This is just too funny. I recently finished re-watching all 34 episodes of season 1 and am maybe a 1/3 way through season 2. And I've only seen bits & pieces of MGH over the years and would like to remedy that. What a hoot the Jack Marshall music was.

My grandmother took me to this movie when it played in the basement at the James Memorial Library here, in Williston ND.

The movie was fun, that was before I became all critical and picky in my latter years. It was a stupid silly film that grandparents could take their grandchildren too.

May it be blessed.

Limited Edition of 3000 Units

Is it still possible for a comedy from the 1960s to sell 3,000 units?

La-La Land Records and Universal Studios proudly present the tenth title within the acclaimed Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection

Titles 1 through 9 are retroactively rechristened.
No explanation forthcoming as to why the word "Heritage" has been jettisoned in favor of "Classics"?
Will the Colossus through Two Mules albums get re-pressed/re-packaged with word "Classics" on their spines or will they continue to retain the "Heritage" term?

"Heritage" connotes age more than anything else, while "Classics" suggests a note of high quality as well.

Seventy television episodes and this feature film--all released in mono sound. But the CD is in glorious stereo.

Well, then I guess I'll have to start referring to myself as "Heritage" instead of "Classic".

Soon to be changed to "Vintage," followed by "Hip." They're having fun with a thesaurus.
