My copy arrived today. Just two tracks in and this is freaking stupendous! The sound quality is awesome and I'm enjoying the additional music which fleshes out the action cues.

My only issue is it was almost impossible to get the CD out of the tray! It just would not budge and I kept bending the CD more and more to wiggle it out. I was afraid I was going to snap the first disc in two.

After some trepidation I did get it out.

* Kinda disappointed a variation of the love theme from the OST couldn't be found. One might be able to grab that from the Intrada release, though the sound quality may be less than ideal. Of course it's no fault of Quartet and the wealth of new material and the sonic upgrade is amazing!

Yes indeed! Nothing on the Intrada that isn't on the Quartet. The album presentation on disc 2 has a different mix from the film presentation, which is why the cue in question wasn't just ported over to disc 1. But if you don't mind the sonic variance, you're welcome to sequence disc 2, track 10 in place of disc 1, track 13!

Gatcha, thxs! I literately listened to the first disc 1am in the morning after work. I hadn't compared the track lists on the two discs yet.

Who else hears the rooster crowing in their head when the Main Title "pauses" near the end of the cue?

While I'm at it...

Whats the difference between "Additional music Swashbucker- Main Title Alt" and "Additional music Love Theme Alt" and the corresponding cues in the main program? I really can't make out any difference.

I believed this is covered on page 12 of the liner notes. Basically, the former has a different fade-out while the latter has a different guitar performance.

Three years down the road, and I just recently realized that tracks #24 and #25, "The Limerick Lassies" and "The Gooseberry Bush" are the exact same piece of music. Has this ever been addressed to Quartet, or have they offered an explanation?
