THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN---trailer released for the Walt Disney live-action/CGI movie about a talented gorilla.

TRON 3---Walt Disney executive Mitchell Lieb said Jared Leto is in talks to star in the new sequel which will be a continuation of the first two movies, "Whereas the timing wasn’t right to do it years ago, I think we feel the timing is right now. We learned a lot of lessons from that last movie." Lieb said he hopes TRON: LEGACY director Joseph Kosinski returns and Daft Punk might compose the soundtrack.
HALLOWEEN KILLS---John Carpenter commented on the sequel and its high body count, “The cut is done. They’ll mix it in New York in the next week or so. Then it will be in the can. My work is all done. The movie is something else. It’s fun, intense and brutal, a slasher movie times one hundred, big time. It’s huge. I’ve never seen anything like this: the kill count!”
PETER PAN---Jude Law is in talks to play Captain Hook in the Walt Disney live-action remake of its 1953 animated movie.
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7---Hayley Atwell posted a photo of her muscle development after gym workouts preparing for the sequel.
FRENCH EXIT---photo released from the Sony Pictures dark comedy movie based on the novel starring Michelle Pfieffer and Lucas Hedges.
CANDY---Elisabeth Moss will star in this miniseries about Candy Montgomery, a Texas housewife who gruesomely murdered her friend, Betty Gore, with an ax after Betty discovered Candy had an affair with her husband. A 1990 Emmy-winning tv movie, A KILLING IN A SMALL TOWN starring Barbara Hershey and Brian Dennehy, was inspired by the 1980 ax murder.
A SPY AMONG FRIENDS---Damien Lewis and Dominic West will star in this miniseries based on the book about British MI6 intelligence officials Nicholas Elliott and his friend, Kim Philby, who was really a top Soviet double agent.
WONDER WOMAN---Patty Jenkins said an animated tv series is underway about the Amazons of Themyscira.
RIP CREW---HBO Max drama underway about "a disgraced ex-FBI agent turned criminology professor discovers that his most gifted students are planning a massive heist, he decides to scoop their score and become the criminal he used to chase."
THE BOYS---a short film about Billy Butcher will be released shortly after the premiere of the new season.
TRIVIA---THE ROCKETEER (Billy Campbell, Jennifer Connelly, Timothy Dalton) was based on the Dave Stevens comic book. Stevens had a cameo in the movie as the doomed Nazi rocket pack test pilot.

I wouldn't be suprised if the kill count reaches 20. I've heard it's planned as a trilogy, and if it does well at the BO, well the middle tends to have the least story. (I know. It's a slasher, but...) What'shisname is a good Michael too. However, there is too much history to think of Laurie NOT as Michael's sister. Also after Cundey left there's never really been that mood. He was so good that even the robots from Part 3 came across as a force of nature. The score was decent too but nothing I'd really need to revisit. 1-3 is about all I need. To 2018's credit it probably exterminated all the sequels from at least part 4 on. I also seem to remember liking the score to Resurrection, the worst movie of the bunch. Not because of the theme but cause Danny Lux took it in a different direction.
