A bit easier this time around, owing mainly to the ever shrinking number of plausible answers, but there were a few tough nuts to crack. Thanks again for this very entertaining game. I'm pretty sure that we the participants will have these title cards permanently etched on our brains. smile

1) The Reincarnation of Peter Proud
2) Morituri
3) The Man
4) One Little Indian
5) Powder
6) Stagecoach
7) Take Her, She's Mine
8) The Don is Dead
9) Angie
10) The Omen
11) Runaway
12) Malice
13) The Cassandra Crossing
14) Lionheart
15) Six Degrees of Separation

So, do I pass the test? smile

And Alex, now that we're nearing the end of ONE of the best film composers ever, how about a Main Titles guess quiz for THE Greatest Film Composer EVER!!!!

John Towner Williams

This guess quiz has been a blast. Thanks Alex smile

1) Thank you so very much, your kind words are most appreciated, honestly.

2) If I told you, also honestly, that, not having read or taken any such suggestion from anybody, ..... since maybe last week I have a folder on my hard drive with already 38 nice jpgs of films scored by...John Williams, what would you do?!!!? I'm already looking forward to that.....

3) Anybody here for the "JG titles with apostrophe" final bonus round? Come on, only from your memory, no cheating, please! I'll even start:

Take Her She's Mine (1963)

.... (1965)

.... (1965)

.... (1975)

.... (1976)

.... (1985)

.... (1989)

(Hope I didn't forget one!)

As we could also say about most of Jerry Goldsmith's output: A perfect score!!!!

Thank you for participating..... and now for the "Victory Lap" bonus round, maybe? Name all JG titles with an apostrophe!? (my server doesn't accept them in file names so this actually gave me occasional minor headaches during this quiz, that's how I came up with this)

... In Harm's Way

Von Ryan's Express

Logan's Run

Twilight's Last Gleaming

King Solomon's Mines

I have a question: Did I imagine a "music by Bruce Rowland" credit on Bad Girls?

Reg. the titles: You are at the top of your game, I have to say! :-)

Reg. the "music by Bruce Rowland" comment: I'm afraid I don't understand.... :-/

Folks, I have to shut down and leave my PC now, thank you all for this wonderful time, I hope you had a little fun - and feel free to leave more final comments here!

If not, see you at the next challenge when it will be the (for me and many others) undisputed No.1 of movie composers, the man who brought me to buy my first soundtrack LP in 1978, when I was 12, after coming out of the cinema, totally blown away by the music I'd just heard - SUPERMAN THE MOVIE. After RAIDERS I was finally hooked and began collecting soundtracks, first on LPs, then CDs, eventually totaling over 1500, I guess. (counting LPs and CDs separately, that is). But that's another story...

See you soon!

While searching for answers, I came upon the movie Bad Girls on YouTube and the credit was "music composed and conducted by Bruce Rowland". I didn't know there was an alternate version with another score. Does anybody know the facts about this?

Thanks again for the fun ride. smile Can't wait for John Williams. smile

@ Mr. SBD, for number 5: This word, if used as a prefix for a synonym of beer barrel, could be a blast.
