After feeling so down and out these past couple of months, I decided to do a very silly thing.

The other day I stumbled across this Roger Corman movie called 'War of the Satellites' which features one of the most bombastic pieces of music I've ever come across as of late. It's so over the top and catchy that I just had to splice it into something that wouldn't fit it at all. It wasn't until the very of the movie where the lead character played by Dick Miller utters a line that instantly made me want to put it in ST:TMP!

And here she is!

I thought this was going to be about a videogame score. Btw, I disagree. The music fits perfectly in every way. The credited Walter Greene knew his stuff.

This is terrific. Don't be surprised if many here don't "get" it. Sometimes the absurd is taken as literal.

Here's my absurd revision of a similar scene from ST-TMP:

I guess when I said those words, it was more under the mentality that anything you do to swap out Jerry Goldsmith's work wouldn't fit. By no means did I attempt to make this thread to imply that it was bad music. It's very catchy and effective at building excitement. The music very much fits this scene in a very neat kind of way, that's why I made it.

It's just so over the top!
