This was my favorite score from last year, thrilled it finally got a (very ample) release. The theme is really gorgeous. Strickland clearly loves 70s Morricone.
Cat's Eyes' score for Strickland's THE DUKE OF BURGUNDY (2014) was not only my favourite score that year, but also one of the very best of the entire 2010s. It's been played to death in this household over the last 6 years.
This sounds excellent too, and I'll be sure to check it out. Whatever one feels about his movies, Strickland has excellent taste in music, and the types of scores he wants for his films.
