Everyone was sent home. But there are some people in entertainment industry, who are able to work from home, e.g. CGI artists.

Well, not exactly. Most creators, writers and those who develop shows can still work, and do. Film editors, sound editors, composers, mixers and yes, most visual effects personnel. Basically, most people who aren't required on set - and btw, that amounts to A LOT more people globally than the average film fan might realize.

I'm on a show at the moment where we've got plenty to do, and are working full time from our home studios for at least the next few months.

As for when shooting will resume anywhere, that's all up to insurance companies. No shoot will be fully insurable so long as there aren't vaccines. So I think we're in for a longer haul than most currently think, or would prefer to imagine.

Or people on set will be regularly tested on virus with some kind of rapid test.
Something like this maybe:

And them there's theatres, how many of them will never reopen? Football clubs (sport & entertainment), the big boys will be okay, as they seem to be owned by billionaires, but in the UK most football clubs are quite small & never that far away from going under.

I’m even more worried for symphony orchestras.

NASCAR iRacing. This is actually pretty amazing. Live, real time interactive racing with actual professional drivers.

I heard that the big releases (Bond, WW) have to be delayed because of commitments to the movie theaters, but that could all change after this is over. My modest $800 (many for less now) movie projector on a 120" screen gave me a theater like experience for a BR copy of 1917. With no real advantages to going to theaters for better technology in the viewing/listening experience, I suspect they are in for a big reduction.

An excellent article about how our poor celebrities are suffering during Covid 19...

I'll give Gal a pass on this one. I'm sure she meant well. And shes never shown herself to be an obnoxious you know what, like a certain other "superhero". The rest? Meh, many of them have this guilt complex thing going while living a comfortable, pampered life.
