Stuart Whitman was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 7083 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California on February 1, 1998. Whitman had a 50-year career in Hollywood, and was a major star for more than a decade in the late 1950s and through the 1960s. He invested wisely, and by the time he retired he had amassed a fortune of $100 million. And for all of the entertainment he gave us, he deserved every penny. Thanks, Stuart.
Surprised Bob didn't post this one, which was one of those childhood movies I remembered but couldn't find a decent copy of as an adult. THE MAN WHO WANTED TO LIVE FOREVER (1970 TVmovie AKA "The Only Way Out Is Dead" AKA "The Heart Farm." Had a scifi/thriller plot where the conclusion reminded me of THE LAST CHILD - a couple on the run who escape seemingly by passing a border (but not into Canada - they just outrun their pursuers).
