Great to know that it's been picked up by Netflix. Would have loved a release date for season 3 too, but obviously understand that is difficult to give in this day and age.
Happy to hear it's moving to Netflix! Excited for the season to start. Hopefully it will be released on physical media. The "special" edition DVD set was sold out in about five seconds. Not to mention it was insulting it was DVD instead of Blu-ray. I'm buying all of the physical media I can with all of the censorship going on. I was mainly buying all digital on iTunes the past two years.
It's official season 3 is coming in 2021. The new trailer promoting seasons 1 and 2 with a teaser for season 3 is fantastic! It looks like Chozen from KARATE KID II will be in season 3. This is my all time favorite tv show. It's now on netflix btw.
Started watching Cobra Kai on Netflix. It's an easy watch. We're about 5 episodes in. I like how they've made us feel sorry for the bad guy from the original film and switched up their situations now. Been disappointed by the scores though. I thought I'd read around here that they channelled the Bill Conti originals, but I haven't heard one note yet that's stood out to me.
Still quite a wait untill season 3, but it's nice that the two first seasons are now on Netflix for those who didn't catch in on Youtube's premium service. I'm still really hoping they'll convince Hillary Swank to appear.
Okay, episodes 5 and 6 had some great music in it, but that was because they just tracked Bill Conti's original score from KK1 into it. Really not hearing anything from the music other than the Conti nods. Show's a blast though.

Hi Thor! Yeah it would be cool if Swank appears. I also want to see Terry Silver and Mike Barnes from THE KARATE KID PART III return. It looks like Chozen from THE KARATE KID PART II will appear for sure!
I'm lumbering towards the end of series 2, but I gotta say, it's been a massive let-down (after series 1) due to the introduction of old man Kreese. He's ruined it somewhat for me, as his character arc now just doesn't fit in with the feel of the series as it played out. I've still enjoyed it here and there, but hope series 3 gets things back on track for me (or the last 3 episodes of series 2 I've yet to watch). The music budget seemed to improve during series 2. More orchestral sounding cues and themes, as opposed to the micro-budget scoring of series 1 (where the only bits I liked were the Bill Conti drop-ins).
I'm gonna tune in and watch it, but I didn't enjoy series 2 as much as series 1. And the BIG FIGHT in the school in the last episode (the one that went on for days and days) was ridiculous. It reminded me of some of the endless, drawn out fight sequences from BUFFY, which were also my least favourite part of that show.
