It was a 2 season series about a virus that wipes out 90 per cent of humanity. Given we’re in the midst of an epidemic, wouldn't it make sense for an opportunistic label to release? Maybe even the series on dvd?

It was quite a good little series. The main difference was the the original was 38 episodes and the remake was 12. Also the original had a memorable theme by Anthony Isaac. I think it got dropped cos the BBC were looking to make major budget cuts so the bankers could keep their bonuses. Pity.
I'm not familiar with this series or it's music, but it would be remiss of me not to add a post, as I love the music of Edmund Butt, and wish there was a lot more out there to purchase.
