I recently completed this video essay talking about the continuation of style and themes throughout the original Lost In Space TV series.
Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!
Awesome, Lattanzi! Very enjoyable and informative. I never knew how other composers had utilized Williams' material and each others as well. I like how you highlighted the way the different episodes used the music cues and your explanations clearly described the composers contributions. Thanks very much and I look forward to more!
Thanks for posting this. It's a great video. Also, with so many other scores and DVDs on hand, any given subject can fade into the background. It's good to be reminded of LIS now and then, and why the LLL box set was worth getting.
Great video, thanks for the hard work and for sharing this! I've always found it interesting how some thematic material recurred throughout the series and yet neither of the show's two main themes found their way into actual episode scores.
Thanks everyone for the feedback! I'm thrilled you enjoyed it so much and got a lot out of it. Look forward to some more videos like this in the future.
(And I thought that Lionel and Alfred Newman looked close in age haha)
